Octagon to take on new occupants

Abbott Square in Downtown Santa Cruz will soon be filled with exciting new food vendors as part of the new Abbott Square Market project, implemented by the Museum of Art & History and John McEnery IV. New construction in Abbott Square has already begun as of September 2016 and individual market stalls are about to take shape. This coming spring will welcome new food vendors that will bring custom homemade ice cream bars, ahi tuna bowls, vegan cuisine inspired by Africa, and authentic Neapolitan style pizza. A new entrance with an extended deck towards Cooper Street, the enticing aroma of creative cuisine, outdoor movies and events and the welcoming Octagon are all in place to bring together the creative, hungry, and adventurous people of Santa Cruz.
