Oroweat Bakery Outlet now closed

SANTA CRUZ >> The local Entenmann’s/Oroweat Bakery Outlet (2740 Soquel Ave., near Santa Cruz Gymnastics), which sold products such as Thomas’ English muffins, Oroweat bread and Sara Lee sweets at a 30 percent or higher discount, recently closed. Outlets are owned by Bimbo Bakeries. As of mid-August, there were boards covering the windows and a sign on the door that read, “This Bimbo Bakeries USA Bakery Outlet has been closed. We thank you for your patronage. You may continue to find our fine baked items in many of your local retail stores. — BBU Management.”
