Facebook Expansion Leads to Possible Apartment Development
Facebook plans to expand headquarters in Menlo Park, California, to accommodate an additional 6,500 employees and also has plans to build apartments that would house 1,500 residents. These apartments would be for the general public including low-income families. No date has been establishes for this project, but the plans are getting good reviews. With the large increase in jobs in the surrounding Bay Area, housing shortages have become a major concern and have other tech giants showing their support for adding residential housing.
